Terms and Conditions
Please read these terms carefully, and print and keep a copy of them for your

Making a contract with us
When you book a course or treatment session with me, by phone, Internet or in
person, you are making an offer to buy my services. I will send you an e-mail to
confirm that I have received your booking and request a deposit (see below) if
the booking is direct with me, or request that you book through the London
Therapists site if you are booking onto one of the courses I teach for them (see
below for their terms.)
If booking direct with me, a deposit of 50% of the total course or treatment
fee is payable on booking. The remainder is payable when you come to the course
or treatment. This is negotiable if you wish to pay in instalments: please
contact me to discuss this option. Payment can be made via PayPal, by cheque to
Earthereal of Yorkshire, or by cash in person.
Cancellation and returns
If you cancel a booked course or treatment session, the following penalties
will apply:
Up to 1 week beforehand: your deposit will be returned less a nominal £20
admin fee.
Less than 1 week beforehand: your deposit will not be returned.
If you need to change the date of your booking for a genuine reason, please
contact me as soon as possible to discuss it. I will do my best to arrange an
alternative date with you, but reserve the right to impose the penalties
outlined above if none of my available dates suit you.
If I have to cancel a course for any reason, I will negotiate an alternative
date with you at no extra cost. If for any reason this is unacceptable to you, I
will refund your deposit within 28 days less a nominal £10 admin fee. I will only
cancel a course in exceptional circumstances and if at all possible will give 48
hours' notice.
In the event of any student behaving improperly, they will be asked to leave
the course immediately and no monies will be refunded.
Courses taught on behalf of London Therapists
The following T and Cs apply to these courses: please check the London
Therapists website for more details.
| Fees, Registration and
Refunds
1. No refund
of fees or transfer onto a later course can be offered if you
fail to attend on the day of your course for any
reason (hospital/doctor/dentist appointment, domestic crisis,
travel delays, cold/flu, change of mind, lack of child care
etc.,). Fees are not refundable or transferable in this
instance unless exceptional circumstances apply. To ensure
fairness these terms apply to everyone, and there are good
reasons for them. Unlike many training providers we will run a
course, with the overheads that this incurs, even if we have
very low student numbers - you may be one of only two students
booked onto a date, for example. In addition our courses are
very popular, and it's quite likely that we turned away another
student who could have taken your place.
2.
Cancelling or transferring a
course in advance will incur the following penalty:

Courses cancelled or
transferred up to 48 hours before the course date: 100%
of fee

Courses cancelled or
transferred up to 7 days before the course date: 75% of
fee
-
Courses cancelled or
transferred up to 14 days before the course date: 50% of
fee.
3. We rarely
have to cancel a course, but if we do we will transfer you onto
the next date that's convenient for you at no extra charge. We
will always give you at least 48 hours notice of a
cancellation, and if no other date suits you we will issue you
with a full refund of all monies paid as soon as reasonably
practicable, but in any event no later than 30 days from the
date of your booking.
4.
Bookings are taken online via our website, and the full fee is
payable in advance to reserve a place. A booking may be made by
telephone, by or on behalf of a student who does not have
internet access, at our discretion.
5. You are
accepted onto a course on the understanding that you attend on
the date and at the time specified in your confirmation email.
Classes will commence promptly at the time stated, irrespective
of whether all students are present, and are not delayed for
late-comers. Tutors are not responsible for repeating notes or
stages missed, and can refuse to admit you at their discretion.
6. Fees are not
refundable if the course is interrupted or cancelled through
circumstances beyond our control.
Attendance and Diplomas
Paying for
and/or attending a course does not guarantee the awarding of a
diploma or certificate. Diplomas are gained by the successful
fulfilment of the criteria set out by London Therapists and its
accrediting bodies, and the awarding of diplomas is at the
discretion of the tutor. In the case of a dispute the decision
of the Principal is final.
Other
1. The use of
camcorders, mobile phone cameras and audio equipment during a
class is not permitted.
2. All
courses, fees and discounts are subject to change without prior
notice.
3. Students
unable to understand or speak English will not be permitted to
attend courses without the assistance of a suitably qualified
interpreter. The student is responsible for this expense.
4. These
conditions form the main part of the contract between London
Therapists and the Student. Only the Principal shall be
authorised to alter or waive any of the aforementioned terms and
conditions.
Disciplinary
If any student
behaves improperly on the tutor's premises, either before or
during an assessment, or damages or removes any equipment
belonging to the tutor, they will be asked to leave immediately
and no refund of fees will be given.

Changes to these terms
These terms were last changed on 3rd October 2009.
These terms apply to your booking. We may change our terms and conditions at
any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply to future
bookings.
