• The beads became necklaces, bracelets and ear-rings

• The long, broken necklace became a shorter one, a bracelet and long and short ear-rings

• The ear-rings were incorporated into a stylish necklace

• The triple strand 50's pearls became a modern double strand with the addition of freshwater pearls
