Healing and Massage in Ilkley

Lois is a fully qualified and insured therapist and Reiki Master Teacher offering Reiki and massage courses, and treatments for relaxation and stress relief in her peaceful treatment room in the heart of Ilkley, West Yorkshire (a mobile service is available locally).

Formerly a Primary and Early Years teacher, Lois believes passionately that children and young people should be able to access help with life's stresses and offers a special short, affordable Shoden (Reiki 1) course for teenagers, also shorter student sessions of Reiki healing: other discounts may also be available.

She is a member of IPTI and a Master Teacher Member of the UK Reiki Federation: she is also registered with the GRCCT (voluntary regulatory body for complementary therapists).

Ayurvedic Facial Massage

New to Earthereal, this blissful energy therapy begins with a short questionnaire to establish your "dosha" or personality type of the day. This determines the selection of an appropriate oil for you. The therapy then involves gentle massaging of the facial "Marma points" to gently balance and stimulate your energy, an element of facial relaxation, smoothing and lifting, and finishing off with a natural face mask appropriate for your dosha and skin type.

Japanese-Style Reiki & Massage Courses

Certified and insurable Japanese-style Reiki courses are available at all levels and I teach massage courses on behalf of London Therapists.

Gentle and non-intrusive, the energy of Reiki is used to re-balance the client's own energy and help them to heal themselves.

Japanese Hand Massage

A gorgeous, relaxing and uplifting treatment combining Reflexology for the Hand with Shiatsu massage using soothing aromatic oils.

Natural Lift Facial Massage

The ultimate "pamper" treatment! Indian and Japanese techniques combine to smooth and "lift" the face, relax the neck and shoulders and stimulate the facial acupressure points. Relaxation in bucketloads and an indefinable "glow" to the face make this a favourite. Feel (and perhaps even look!) younger!

Indian Head Massage

This popular treatment involves massage of the neck, back and shoulders as well as brisk massaging of the scalp, tussling of the hair and stimulation of the facial pressure points. Ideal for the client in a hurry, the head massage can be performed with or without oils and offers a full relaxation experience while sitting upright.

Thai Foot Massage

If you walk, cycle, run or just have stiff legs, this could be the massage for you!

The massage involves stimulation of the acupressure points and of the "Sen" or meridian lines on the feet and legs. The techniques used include effleurage, pressure and working with a Thai massage stick. A combination of oil and reflexology cream is used. Lie back and be pampered!
